According to his family, Francisco Sousa had been missing since July 5th and, since then, searches were carried out in the region to try to locate him. The operation that located the body had the support of the Military Police, the Military Fire Department and the Municipal Civil Guard of Santa Inês. The case remains under investigation by the Civil Police, which is investigating the authorship and circumstances of the crime to fully clarify what happened.
