The man was located in the municipality of Rio das Ostras and detained without incident. According to the Civil Police, one of the warrants was for preventive arrest, issued by the Court of Domestic and Family Violence against Women of the District of Araras, for the alleged commission of the crime of rape of a vulnerable person, provided for in article 217-A of the Penal Code. ? According to the investigation, the suspect is accused of carrying out acts of a sexual nature against his own daughter when she was between 13 and 14 years old. At the time of the events, he lived with his wife and teenager. The Civil Police reported that the arrest was made on the day the victim turned 16 years old. After being captured, the person being investigated told the agents that he had no longer had contact with his daughter since the facts were discovered. In addition to the preventive warrant, the police officers also served a definitive arrest warrant, resulting from a final and unappealable conviction for the crime of threat, provided for in article 147 of the Penal Code. After the usual procedures, the prisoner remained at the disposal of Justice.
