The crime took place in the early hours of this Wednesday (5), in Jardim Guanabara, in Franca (SP). Thainara Aparecida Almeida dos Reis died after being taken to Santa Casa. Jéssica Gomes dos Santos, 26, was taken to Álvaro Azzuz Hospital with injuries to her shoulder and one of her hands, according to the police report. The suspect, identified as Alberto Nunes Rodrigues Neto, 26 years old, fled in a black car and was wanted until the police report was completed. The case was registered as femicide and attempted femicide. The Civil Police requested expertise at the scene and seized sharp weapons that may have been linked to the crime.
