Alliança Saúde reported this Wednesday (5) that it filed a request with the Court to approve its extrajudicial recovery plan, a step that seeks to formalize an agreement to renegotiate around R$1.1 billion in debts. According to the company, the request was presented to the 2nd Bankruptcy and Judicial Recovery Court of São Paulo and is part of the financial restructuring process initiated after the change in control of the company. ? In extrajudicial recovery, the company negotiates directly with creditors and takes the agreement to court for approval only. In judicial recovery, the process is conducted under the supervision of the Judiciary from the beginning, with broader rules to reorganize debts and preserve the company's activities. Despite being extrajudicial, the recovery needs to be approved by the Court for the agreement between the company and creditors to have legal validity. The rule is in the Judicial Recovery and Bankruptcy Law. According to Alliança, the plan already has the support of more than 83 creditors, including financial institutions, suppliers, service providers and owners of properties and equipment. Together, they represent around 54% of the debts included in the recovery, a percentage sufficient to meet the quorum provided for in the legislation so that the plan can be approved by the Courts. *Report being updated
