The equipment was already in operation on citrus farms with rental contracts. From that year onwards, Jacto made the autonomous sprayer a commercial product, which follows the requirements of international technical standards for the agricultural environment, with a focus on workplace safety and the prevention of operational accidents. "We observed a clear market maturity in the adoption of autonomous solutions. As with all emerging technology, there was a necessary period of validation and operational adjustments in the field. More than 16 thousand hours were worked on almost 60 thousand hectares until the equipment was considered ready to be launched as a commercial product", comments Carlos Daniel Haushahn, CEO of Jacto. Initially developed for citrus farming, the equipment has the ability to spray without an operator on board, with only supervision and remote control. Furthermore, it is possible to control more than one machine in the same operation, with the train function. In this case, the same operator can operate up to four pieces of equipment simultaneously, which brings productivity gains of up to 300% per operator. With the possibility of operating 24 hours straight, the operational efficiency of the Arbus 4000 JAV is up to 30% higher than that of traditional citrus sprayers, with uniformity in both working speed and volume of product applied. Another highlight is the application system that has up to 8 fans in the spray tower system, which allows variable application at each height of the plant and, consequently, saves inputs in the operation of the equipment. Each sprayer, operating 24 hours a day, has the capacity to apply more than 1,000 hectares per month, when the operation is well adjusted. With artificial intelligence acting on this information, the Arbus 4000 JAV is capable of creating a virtual scenario containing the projection of the plants, with estimated size and width of the canopies, as well as the spacing between the canopies in front of it, where it will travel, in order to enable the centralization of its route between the two crop lines. For the equipment's operational efficiency to be high, an intelligent system integrates the equipment's electronic components, capturing and processing data in real time through Telemetry. This information is made available in the Jacto Connect application, allowing immediate management of the operation, with access to the operation parameters for decision-making and adjustments in the equipment's work process.
