MPRN's complaint was accepted by the Justice of Rio Grande do Norte MPRN/Disclosure The Justice of Rio Grande do Norte made defendants, this Thursday (23), a former outsourced employee of the Court of Justice (TJRN), a lawyer and a head of the Crime Syndicate faction. The three are investigated for involvement in a criminal scheme at the 1st Regional Criminal Execution Court. According to the Public Ministry, which filed the complaint with the Court, the trio used the structure of the Criminal Execution Court to benefit prisoners from the criminal organization. The complaint was received as part of Operation Between Two Worlds, which began in December 2025. ? According to the Public Ministry, the investigation did not identify signs of participation by other TJRN employees or authorities in the crimes attributed to the former employee. How the scheme worked According to the complaint, Mayara Pereira Silva acted as an outsourced legal advisor and used access to the Unified Electronic Execution System (SEEU) to change procedural movements and prepare drafts of court decisions. Still according to the MPRN, she directed the criminal execution process of her own partner for consideration by a substitute judge during the main magistrate's vacation. The measure would have resulted in the granting of regime progression and the removal of the prisoner's electronic ankle bracelet. The investigation also points out that the former employee prepared petitions for other members of the faction, consulted records from the prison system and passed on confidential information obtained due to her position. Role of the others accused According to the Public Ministry, Israel de Andrade Maciel had enticed his partner to act in favor of the criminal organization within the Criminal Execution Court. He is also said to be responsible for offering legal facilities to members of the faction, in addition to managing drug trafficking, negotiating firearms and using third-party accounts to hide money obtained from criminal activities. Lawyer Evandson Domingos Gomes, according to the complaint, would have provided his own digital certificate so that the former employee could make petitions outside the work environment. The MPRN also states that he acted as an intermediary between arrested leaders and members of the free faction, transmitting orders, financial spreadsheets and receiving payments in money and drugs. Crimes attributed The former employee is responsible for the crimes of: criminal organization; passive corruption; administrative law; breach of functional secrecy; money laundering. Israel de Andrade Maciel is responsible for: criminal organization; active corruption; drug trafficking; money laundering; illegal trade in firearms. The lawyer was denounced by: criminal organization; passive corruption; active corruption; administrative law; breach of functional secrecy; drug trafficking; money laundering; illegal trade in firearms. Operation Operation Between Two Worlds was launched on December 11, 2025 by the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (Gaeco) of the MPRN, with support from the Military Police of RN, the Public Ministry of Paraíba and the Institutional Security Group of the TJRN. During the execution of the warrants, cell phones, a notebook, the lawyer's digital certificate, cash, a firearm and ammunition were seized.
