Inmet renews intense rain warning for 70 cities in Paraíba; see municipalities at risk

With the change, the number of cities under warning was reduced to 70. ?Potential danger: For municipalities that are under yellow alert for potential danger of intense rain, it may rain between 20 and 30 mm/h or up to 50 mm/day, with intense winds between 40 and 60 km/h. According to Inmet, there is a low risk of electricity cuts, falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges. Inmet Recommendations Inmet recommends that people do not take shelter under trees in case of gusts of wind or rain, as there is a risk of falling and electrical discharges. The agency also advises that vehicles should not be parked near transmission towers and advertising signs. The institute also advises that the use of electronic devices plugged into a socket should be avoided in cities under yellow rain alert.
