Inmet Recommendations Inmet recommends that people do not take shelter under trees during the rain, as there is a risk of falls and electrical shocks. The agency also advises that vehicles should not be parked near transmission towers and advertising signs. ??For cities under yellow alert, the use of electronic devices plugged into a socket should be avoided. In the case of municipalities under orange alert, Inmet recommends turning off electrical appliances and the general energy system.
