Created by Amazonian Gesson Nunes, the festival was officially launched this Thursday (23), in a cocktail party that brought together missionaries, Christian leaders, cultural producers, influencers, authorities and the press. More than just shows, the proposal is to promote missionary mobilization, encouraging churches and Christian organizations to support projects aimed at riverside and indigenous communities and difficult-to-access regions in the Amazon. ? Among the confirmed participants is the missionary Chrystian Mc Comb, who works in several countries and develops projects in the Amazon. "The Amazon continues to be one of the greatest missionary challenges in the world. Every initiative that brings the Church closer to this reality strengthens the work in the communities", he stated. In addition to the shows, the festival will have moments of prayer, evangelism, social actions and meetings between missionaries and Christian leaders. The expectation is to bring together participants from several states, consolidating Manaus as a meeting point for churches and Christian organizations engaged in the Amazon mission.
