According to the girl's mother, Guina Diaquino de Sousa, Raimundo was hospitalized when Rayana was born and, due to her health situation, she was unable to officially register her daughter. After his death, the girl began to constantly ask for her father's name to be included in the document. "I got emotional, because, really, she demanded me every day. After receiving the court decision, mother and daughter left the Itinerant Conciliation bus to go to the registry office, where they began the procedures to issue the girl's new birth certificate. According to the TJMA, the DNA test, carried out with genetic material from Rayana and her father's relatives, confirmed paternity. After a hearing via videoconference, the sentence was approved during the Itinerant Conciliation's passage through Timbiras. In addition to recognizing Rayana's paternity, the Itinerant Conciliation edition also reached agreements in areas such as recognition and dissolution of stable unions, consensual divorce, alimony, child custody, debt renegotiation and other conflicts that can be resolved through conciliation. According to the Maranhão Court of Justice, 341 agreements were approved, equivalent to 90.45% of the hearings held on the Itinerant Conciliation bus and at the Reinalda Rodrigues Early Childhood Education Center, in Timbiras.
