Four people suspected of stealing more than ten cell phones are arrested in Timon Disclosure/Civil Police Four people were arrested, in the early hours of this Saturday (18), suspected of stealing cell phones during the Encontro de Folguedos, a cultural event held in Timon, a city located in the east of Maranhão. ? During the operation, police seized 15 stolen cell phones, as well as a car and a motorcycle that, according to the investigation, were used by the group to commit the crimes. The suspects and the seized material were taken to the Timon Police Station. The Civil Police reported that investigations continue to identify other victims and possible people involved. The action was carried out by the Civil Police of Maranhão, through the Intelligence and Captures Police Station (DICAP), together with the Military Police, through the 11th Battalion, the Local Intelligence Agency (ALI), the Águia Squadron, and the Municipal Civil Guard of Timon, through the Municipal Ostensive Ronda (ROMU).
