According to the court decision, José Edivan Félix used false invoices, receipts considered unsuitable and checks to divert resources from federal programs, such as the Child Labor Eradication Program (Peti), the Comprehensive Family Care Program (Paif) and funds allocated to school meals. With the judgment, the case has become final and there is no longer any possibility of appeal. The established sentence is 6 years and 9 months in prison, in an initial semi-open regime.
