Driver who died was in a pickup truck; accident happened on BR-354, in Arcos PMRv/Disclosure A 47-year-old driver died after the truck he was driving was involved in an accident with a car and a trailer on Friday night (24), around 6:10 pm, at km 468 of BR-354, in Arcos. According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the driver of the car, a 44-year-old Onix, was heading from Bambuí to Arcos when she found the truck in an 'L' position on the road. The semi-trailer first hit the truck and then the passenger car. ? Click here to follow the g1 Centro-Oeste de Minas channel on WhatsApp The driver of the truck, aged 48, who was not injured, informed the police that he was traveling from Arcos to Bambuí and that the train was hit by one of the vehicles coming from the opposite direction. With the impact, the truck left the road and stopped in the middle of the vegetation. The driver succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

In Onix, the driver suffered minor injuries. A 16-year-old teenager was rescued with the same condition, while a 14-year-old teenager suffered serious injuries. They were taken by third parties to Santa Casa de Arcos. According to PMRv, it was raining at the time of the accident. Teams from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), the Fire Department, forensics, the funeral home on duty and the towing service worked on the incident. After the forensic work, the trailer was released to the driver. The other two vehicles were under the responsibility of a custodian. The victim's body was sent to the funeral home on duty. The causes of the accident are still to be determined.
