Dental offices are closed in Mossoró The Regional Dental Council of Rio Grande do Norte (CRO-RN) closed five dental offices in public health units in Mossoró after identifying structural and sanitary problems during an inspection carried out on Tuesday (21). According to the council, damaged equipment, broken dental chairs, signs of mold, rust and other irregularities were found that compromise the conditions of care and the biosafety of patients and professionals. ? According to the CRO-RN, the inspections are part of an inspection carried out throughout the state to verify the operating conditions of dental offices and ensure that services take place in appropriate environments. After the closures, council teams returned to the units this Wednesday (22) to continue inspections and check for other possible irregularities. What the city hall says In a note, the City of Mossoró informed that it analyzes the recommendations made by the Regional Dentistry Council for the Center for Dental Specialties and stated that it maintains dialogue with the supervisory bodies. The municipality also said that it will prepare a plan to make the necessary adjustments highlighted by the council, both in the CEO and in the Basic Health Units.
