Court orders exclusion of 158 students who used regional bonus to pass Uncisal

State University of Health Sciences of Alagoas Ascom/Uncisal The Court of Justice of Alagoas (TJ-AL) determined, on Thursday (30), the cancellation of the enrollment of 158 students approved at the State University of Health Sciences of Alagoas (Uncisal) who used the regional bonus of 10% in their National High School Examination (Enem) score. ?Join the g1 Alagoas channel The benefit was created by State Law No. 9,365/2024 and granted a 10% increase in the grade of candidates from Alagoas who competed for places at the university. However, the TJ-AL considered the measure unconstitutional. In the decision, judge Paulo Zacarias da Silva ordered Uncisal to begin complying with the measure within 10 working days, counting from the date of the subpoena. The decision is preliminary and can still be appealed. The university informed that, until the publication of this report, it had not yet been notified of the decision and that it will comment after being officially notified. The report also contacted the Public Defender's Office of the State of Alagoas, to find out if the body will appeal the decision, but received no response.
