Cars were found in a warehouse on the border between Santa Isabel and Igaratá Disclosure/Municipal Civil Guard of Santa Isabel A warehouse with stolen vehicles was found by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of Santa Isabel after a robbery incident recorded this Thursday (30). A man was arrested for stealing, but the suspect of committing the robbery managed to escape. The case began after the owner of a company was captured by two armed men, who stole a truck. The driver lost control of the vehicle on a curve, abandoned the vehicle and fled into a wooded area. Despite searches, he was not found. Then, the GCM received information that the Honda Fit used in the crime had been abandoned on the border between Santa Isabel and Igaratá. At the scene, the guards found the car with tampered license plates.

With the help of residents, teams reached a nearby warehouse. Two white Fiat Stradas with changed license plates were located at the property. After consulting the chassis, it was identified that the two vehicles were stolen items. During the incident, a bricklayer working on a project next door introduced himself as the owner of a gray Fiat Strada. He claimed to have purchased the vehicle for R$9,000. After checking, the GCM identified that the car was also reported stolen. The bricklayer was taken to the Santa Isabel Police Station and arrested for reception. The vehicles were seized.
