Retiree is attacked and robbed after leaving a bank branch in Manaus The Amazonas Court ordered, on Tuesday (28), the preventive arrest of Fabrício Brito da Cunha, investigated by the Civil Police of Amazonas (PC-AM) on suspicion of attacking and robbing retiree Lourival Souza da Silva, aged 72. The crime took place on Monday morning (27), after the victim left a bank branch in the Cachoeirinha neighborhood, South Zone of Manaus. According to the decision, preventive detention is necessary to guarantee public order and ensure the application of criminal law. The request received a favorable opinion from the Public Ministry of Amazonas (MPAM). Investigations indicate that the suspect fled with the retiree’s money and documents. Images recorded by a witness show the moment when Lourival tries to prevent the escape by holding the suspect's car door. He is then pushed, falls to the ground and is unable to prevent the man from escaping. ?
