According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the accident happened around 9:15 am, at Km 107 of the highway, towards Rio de Janeiro. ? The other victims are two women and a man, as well as a three-year-old child. The police reported that everyone took a breathalyzer test, which gave a negative result. The information is that, with the traffic congested, the truck was unable to brake and the pileup began. All victims were rescued and taken to the Taubaté Regional Hospital.
