City of RS ends 5-month water rationing after rain equivalent to almost a month in 48 hours

Rationing was implemented five months ago as a preventive measure to preserve reservoirs, due to a period of lack of rain that affected Bagé and the region. During the most critical moment of the drought, the population spent 16 hours a day without water supply. Before the suspension, the restriction was set at 12 hours a day. Although there is still a deficit in the volume stored in the dams, Daeb states that the time of year and the weather forecast allow the return of normal supply safely.
