City Council approves PLDO and foresees a budget of R$5.7 billion for Maceió in 2027

Maceió City Council Personal Archive The Maceió City Council (CMM) unanimously approved, on Tuesday (28), the Budget Guidelines Bill (PLDO) for the year 2027. The project foresees a budget of R$5.7 billion for the capital of Alagoas. The document is sent to the Executive Branch for analysis. ?Join the g1 Alagoas channel According to the CMM, 25% of this amount will be allocated to Education, while 15% will go to Health. The LDO is the law that establishes the rules for preparing the city hall's budget. Before being approved without vetoes by the Legislative House, the Bill received a favorable opinion from the Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) of the Maceió City Council.

The Tax Recovery Program (Prefis) was also approved by the Chamber, which covers tax and non-tax debts due by December 31, 2025. The measure, according to the Municipality, consists of providing an effective opportunity for delinquent taxpayers to achieve tax regularity. In addition to the PLDO, councilors also approved a block of Executive Branch projects in two discussions.
