When analyzing the election two years later, he understands that the fact that he campaigned during his term as deputy prevented the electorate from seeing him as a candidate for mayor. Therefore, he announced that he is not a candidate for mayor in 2028. "I am not the candidate for mayor of Indaiatuba. My way of adding is different and whoever has this expectation in my mandate needs to understand that my mandate and my work are completely focused on being the best deputy possible for our city, for our region and, of course, for the causes that we defend", he explained. In an interview with g1, Ganem also said that he works with four main thematic axes and defined himself as a center-right politician who is not opposed to negotiating with parties and deputies from all political fields to consolidate projects linked to his flags: animal causes, health, child protection and aviation.
