Despite the drop recorded in the month, the survey shows that, in the last 12 months, the cost of the basic food basket remains on the rise in Petrolina, with a variation of 5.17%. According to the study, the basic food basket accounted for 38.34% of the minimum wage, leaving R$999.54 for the worker to cover other expenses, such as housing, transport, health, education and leisure.
