Labor happened quickly, so it was not possible to get to the hospital. The mother and baby are doing well. The team from Arteris Régis Bittencourt, the concessionaire that manages the highway, was called to assist a pregnant woman at km 543.7, heading south. The newborn came into the world healthy, measuring 49 centimeters and weighing 3,075 kilos.

After giving birth, the mother and daughter received initial care from the Arteris rescue team. They were then sent to the Pariquera-Açu Regional Hospital for evaluation and medical follow-up. In a note, Arteris stated that the incident will be marked in the memory of the professionals involved. "Amidst the constant movement of the highway, where thousands of stories cross paths every day, the dawn of this Tuesday took on a special meaning. Eloá's arrival reminded us that, between departures and destinations, life always asks for passage," said the concessionaire.
