Disclosure/Orlando Jr. The Amazonian band Os Tucumanus takes to the Palco Brasil at the João Rock 2026 Festival this Saturday (1st), at 3:20 pm, for an unprecedented meeting with rapper Victor Xamã. The presentation is part of the program of the themed stage “From North to South”, which covers the different regions and cultural movements of the country, and will be broadcast live on Globoplay for subscribers. Celebrating 20 years of career in 2026, Os Tucumanus arrive at the main Brazilian music festival bringing to the public a trajectory marked by a mix of rock, guitars and references from Amazonian popular culture. Over two decades, the band established itself as one of the main names in music produced in the North region. "We are very happy to be living this historic moment in our 20-year trajectory and to receive this gift, to be alongside great names in Brazilian music. The rapper is experiencing one of the most important moments in his career with the release of “Estreito”, an album produced alongside South Korean WillsBife, which brings together sounds from the Amazon and South Korea in a combination of rap, neo soul and musical experiments. "I feel flattered to represent my region alongside such an important and symbolic band for Manaus. While I was scribbling my first lyrics, I always followed the Os Tucumanus shows. The speech of resistance and appreciation of our Amazonian roots certainly directly influenced my rhyme. I love playing at festivals, I found this line-up very interesting and I'm preparing something special", highlights Victor Xamã.
