Conflicts between factions are the main motivation for homicides in Acre. Acre recorded 191 intentional violent deaths in 2025, as shown in the Public Security Yearbook, produced by the Brazilian Public Security Forum (FBSP) and released this Thursday (23). Hours before the murder, she had picked up her husband from the hospital after he had overdosed. She would have turned 43 years old the day after the crime.
