But, on Tuesday night (4), a "passenger" caught our attention: the cat Mimo, who returned home after running away and being found around 600 kilometers away, in Natal (RN). ?Join the g1 Alagoas channel The animal disappeared from home on June 2, in the Massaranduba neighborhood, in Arapiraca, while the owner's family, Rafaela Maria Costa, aged 25, was carrying out repairs on the residence's gate. It is not yet known how the animal traveled the distance between the two states. Mimo was found in Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte, by resident Vanessa Oliveira, after spending a few days roaming the streets of the Felipe Camarão neighborhood, in the West Zone of the city.

From then on, with the help of animal protector Érika Torres, the mobilization began to reunite the cat with the family. Through an online campaign, the amount necessary to hire a company responsible for transporting Mimo back to Arapiraca was raised. The tutor, Rafaela Maria Costa, said she has no words to thank everyone who helped with the reunion. "I am extremely happy. I don't have enough words to thank all the people involved in this reunion. I am very grateful to everyone who contributed", she celebrated. "At first, I thought I wouldn't see him again. I even considered looking for someone to take care of him, because my biggest concern was that he wouldn't end up on the street. He's always been very well looked after. He's been with me since he was a puppy", reported the owner. ?Back home Gato Mimo returns to Arapiraca after being found in Natal (RN) Personal archive Miriam Pacheco was the one who transported Mimo from Natal to Arapiraca.
