Acipi and Sebrae offer a free course Credit: Disclosure Individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs), micro and small companies will have the opportunity to expand their business horizons and access a market still little explored by many: government purchases. With this focus, Sebrae Aqui and the Commercial and Industrial Association of Piracicaba (Acipi) are promoting two nights of free online training, on the 10th and 12th of August, starting at 7pm, aimed at practical guidance on how to sell to public bodies through the Contrata+Brasil platform. The purpose of the course is to demystify the public contracting process, often seen as bureaucratic and distant from the reality of small businesses. During the meetings, participants will have access to practical content that explains, step by step, how public tenders and contracts work, as well as guidance on how to enter this market. In a 100% online format, the training expands its reach and allows entire company teams to participate simultaneously, favoring the dissemination of knowledge within the business. Another difference is that it takes place at night, strategically designed so as not to interfere with the companies' operational routine, functioning as a complementary qualification to the working day. One of the highlights of the course is the presentation of the Contrata+Brasil platform, an initiative that has been transforming the way small suppliers access the public market. The tool was developed with the aim of reducing bureaucracy, simplifying and speeding up the contracting of services by public management, especially at the municipal level, prioritizing local suppliers and encouraging the formalization of entrepreneurs. Contrata+Brasil represents a new model of public contracting. The proposal is to reduce traditional obstacles, make the execution of services more agile and, at the same time, strengthen the local economy by directly connecting public bodies with individual micro-entrepreneurs. In practice, the operation is simple: the public body publishes the need for a service, and registered suppliers send their proposals with the values. At the end of the period, the administration selects the best offer and completes the contract.
