Remember the case Jordan Matheus Leite de Castro and Mariana Emilly Dantas de Souza were shot dead on May 12, 2025, around 6:50 pm, while traveling along Avenida Olavo Lacerda Montenegro, between the Parque das Nações (Coophab) and Nova Parnamirim neighborhoods. According to the complaint from the Public Ministry of Rio Grande do Norte (MPRN), Jordan was driving a green Fiat Uno Way and Mariana was in the passenger seat when a white Fiat Uno approached the vehicle. According to the accusation, Leandro allegedly fired firearms at the couple. Jordan died at the scene. Mariana was rescued and taken to Deoclécio Marques de Lucena Hospital, but died the following day due to her injuries. After the shots, witnesses reported that Mariana managed to get out of the vehicle and ask for help. According to the complaint, Luana helped carry out the murder by driving the vehicle used in the action while Leandro fired shots at the couple. The case was investigated by the Homicide and Personal Protection Division (DHPP) of Parnamirim. The initial complaint was received by the Court in July 2025 and, after the investigations progressed, the accusation was added to include Luana as a defendant in the process.
