The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) issued a red warning of great danger for storms in the state in the coming hours, mainly in the south of the state and part of the Serra. The warning comes one day after a hailstorm was reported that left a child injured. The red alert is the highest level on the Inmet scale and states that the affected areas may experience rain of more than 60 millimeters in one hour or more than 100 millimeters throughout the day, in addition to winds of more than 100 km/h and hail.
