The request is addressed to president Marcelo Teixeira, members of the Management Committee and football executive Alexandre Mattos.
The objective is to demand clarification on sports planning and the club's real financial situation.
Among the requirements presented in the document are:
Presentation of Santos' updated debt and financial planning for the second semester;
Detailing debts with sports clubs and institutions;
The statement of pending issues with current and loaned athletes (salaries, image rights and awards);
Accountability for terminations and agreements with players who left the club, such as Rincón, Furch, Tiquinho Soares and Alfredo Morelos.
The counselors ask that all material be made available three days in advance for analysis and presented on slides during the meeting.
The need for clarification becomes even more evident in the face of reports of demands that have reached the counselors, including from players who are part of the Club's professional squad, to express concerns and make demands related to the situation they have been facing, the position of the counselors
According to the Santos Statute, as the request exceeded the minimum limit of 30 signatures, the Deliberative Council table is obliged to schedule the meeting. The group requests that the meeting be scheduled within a maximum of 15 days.
