First solo album by singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Tina Werneck, “Cheguei Tinindo” lands on audio apps on August 5th, almost like a collection of singles. The fact is that, of the 12 original songs on the album, seven have already been released as singles since the end of 2020. Of the five new tracks, the samba-jazz “O amor vai Chega” is the song with the most power to attract MPB followers due to the presence of singer Leila Pinheiro, a guest on the recording that ends the album with the cadence of musician Carlos Malta's woodwinds. It is from the verse of the lyrics of this samba that Tina took the title of the album “Cheguei tinindo”. The instrumental themes “Egípcio” and “Zambizo” and the songs “Água” and “Coisa faz” – recorded with the participation of Muiza Adnet – are the other four new tracks from the album “Cheguei tinindo”, recorded with musical production by Guilherme Gê. Before launching herself as a singer in 2019, Tina Werneck worked as an instrumentalist, including in ballet, theater and cinema. The artist began playing guitar at age 12 and subsequently studied classical guitar and choral singing. At the age of 21, Tina started playing the viola, an instrument with which she has performed in the world of music and performing arts over the last thirty years. During that time, the instrumentalist played as a solo violist for ten years in the Alevare Quarteto – specializing in the music of Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla (1921 – 1992) – and, as a member of the quartet, released the albums “Piazzolla by Brazilian hands” (2007) and “Piazzolla Segundo Alevare” (2010). Now 57 years old, the artist is awaiting the release of her solo album “Cheguei tinindo” with the intention of consolidating her still recent career as a singer and songwriter. With the exception of the song “Eu deixo” (2022), the artist's partnership with Germana Guilherme, all the other 11 compositions on the album “Cheguei tinindo” have music and lyrics by Tina Werneck.
