The separation takes place three years after the birth of Sky, the couple's son. "Unfortunately, because we are in the public eye, this is the simplest way to report the truth before rumors circulate or a false narrative is created. We will continue to always support each other with love, respect and care as friends and, most importantly, as Sky's mother and father," he continued. The singer also stated that they will not stop being seen together in public because of their son. "So if you see us together in public as a family or sharing each other's social media posts from time to time, that's exactly what we'll be doing. We'll continue creating and loving Sky together, supported by a positive friendship."
