The release of the single with the country ballad “Drunk side”, composed and sung in English by Gustavo Mioto, represents yet another investment by the country singer-songwriter in his international career. “Drunk side” arrived to the world on Wednesday, July 8th, in a recording that emanates a certain rock energy in the musical production orchestrated by Seth Mosley in Nashville (USA), the capital of North American country music. Seth Mosley is credited as one of the composers of “Drunk side” in partnership with Beau Bailey and Gustavo Mioto himself. Chosen to be the official theme of the 71st Festa do Peão de Barretos, scheduled to take place from August 20th to 30th, the song “Drunk side” appeared in the recent season spent by the artist from São Paulo in Nashville (USA) to form an album in English, formatted with composers and producers from the North American country scene. The first taste of Mioto's international album was presented on April 9th. This is the single “Last goodbye”, recorded with musical production by Andrew Capra, Mioto's partner on the song, also credited to Josh Dorr, James Slater and Giana. Both “Last goodbye” and “Drunk side” are recordings packed with pop country aesthetics and with few traces of the Brazilian country music universe that Gustavo Mioto revealed.
