Liniker in a luminous image of the debut of the 'Bye bye Caju' tour at the Nubank Parque stadium in São Paulo last night, July 11 Rony Hernandes / Disclosure 30e and b+ca ? ANALYSIS ? Only five years passed between the release on September 9, 2021 of Liniker's first solo album, “Índigo butterfly anil”, and the debut of the singer's tour through stadiums and arenas in the Brazil to end the consecrating cycle of the São Paulo artist’s second solo album, “Caju” (2024). Last night, July 11, 2026, Liniker filled the Nubank Parque stadium, in the city of São Paulo (SP), in the first performance of the “Bye bye Caju” tour, debuting – for an estimated audience of 48 thousand people – a super-production show with LED screens, dancers, a big band and various costumes. I didn't see the show because I live in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), but I understand that simply carrying out this grand tour already symbolizes quite an achievement for Liniker. Even though the singer has the structure of a producer used to orchestrating major tours, such as 30e, the artist's rise in the last five years shows that it is possible to ascend in the pop universe with artistic independence, without being under the control of a major record label and without following other people's formulas. Over ten years, considering the singer's prehistory as vocalist and frontwoman of the group Caramelows, Liniker has been faithful to herself, building a solid and growing base of admirers with an emphasis only on the music she chose to make, betting on her own sound and, in the case of “Caju”, on an album that, although it has songs with a more pop feel, also featured tracks that exceeded seven minutes. In other words, Liniker followed his own playbook, paying attention to the signals emitted by his first solo album. “Indigo butterfly indigo” may not have become a mass phenomenon, but it has already mobilized and expanded the artist’s audience, preparing the ground for “Caju” to arrive three years later, precisely on August 19, 2024. And the rest was a story of numbers and superlative achievements. With an orchestral mix of R&B, soul, pagode and pop, “Caju” has already accumulated 350 million reproductions, won important awards (such as the Latin Grammy) and made Liniker a pop star. It seems like a lot, and it is, especially for an artist who has accumulated so much without belonging to mainstream segments such as country music, funk, forró and pagode. Liniker paved her own path and said goodbye to the “Caju” era with a national consecration that seemed distant and even unlikely when, ten years ago, the artist emerged in the group Caramelows.
