He's still the same At age 30, Tom Holland stars in his fourth film as the world's most popular hero in "Spider-Man: A New Day", which premiered this Wednesday (29). Even nearly a decade after being selected for the role for his playful personality, he remains the same – but he wonders, from time to time, if he should. "My God, yes. This is something that will never end", says the actor, laughing, in an interview with g1. "Sometimes it should stop." In 2017, he was in Brazil to promote his debut as the character in "Back to Home". Then 21 years old, the Briton put his brother, Harry, in a Spider-Man mask in his place to answer g1's questions while he went to the bathroom. Remember in the video above. Upon returning, he was disappointed to learn that he had not managed to deceive the report. "It's the lack of arms", he exclaimed, pleased to know that the youngest's thinness had given him away. "We went through a phase. I think it was in 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' (2019). We took all the alcohol gel and filled the little bottles with lubricant", says the Brit, delighted. "So people would be there in the studio and you'd see someone, 'Oh, I'm going to use some hand sanitizer.' And then they'd say, 'What the hell?'. I did that with Mitch Bell, the producer. It was really good." "And that's the pleasure of having Tom Holland in the studio. He's obviously very charming and kind, but the jokes never end," says Destin Daniel Cretton.
