ChatGPT Work Disclosure/OpenAI OpenAI launched this Thursday (9) ChatGPT Work, an artificial intelligence agent created to help with work tasks such as spreadsheets and slide presentations. The new feature is based on GPT-5.6, an AI model that was also launched this Thursday and is divided into three versions: Sol, for more advanced tasks; Earth, capable of balancing efficiency and cost; and Luna, the most economical.

ChatGPT Work has been released to subscribers of the Pro, Enterprise and Edu versions, and will be available in the coming days for the Plus and Business versions. GPT-5.6 is also exclusive to paid versions of ChatGPT and other OpenAI services. The debut of GPT-5.6 was supposed to take place in June, but was postponed at the request of the United States government, which highlighted concerns about national security and the possible misuse of high-capacity artificial intelligence technologies. According to OpenAI, GPT-5.6 Sol has similar performance to Mythos Preview, which was created by Anthropic and also underwent extensive analysis by the American government. AI agents are a bet for companies, and whoever masters them can earn up to R$20,000. OpenAI stated that ChatGPT Work can perform all the actions requested by users on its own, but highlighted that it is also possible to control the process, by asking questions, changing directions and reviewing important actions. The agent can also take on repetitive tasks, such as monitoring websites and creating summaries, even if the user is not online. Actions can be done at a set frequency or when another event happens.
