Polar air mass drops temperatures in three states; see weather forecast

The polar air mass continues to predominate over southern Brazil this Wednesday (8), keeping the weather firm and temperatures low in the three states of the region. However, the circulation of moisture from the ocean favors greater cloudiness and light rain on the north coast of São Paulo, the coast of Rio de Janeiro, the east of Minas Gerais and the coast of Espírito Santo.

Wind gusts vary between 40 and 50 km/h along most of the region's coastline.

North remains at risk of storms

In the North Region, the action of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ZCIT), combined with the heat and high availability of humidity, favors rain showers over Roraima, Amapá, northern Amazonas and areas of the coast and northern Pará.

There is a risk of storms, mainly in the northwest of Amazonas and in the north of Roraima.

In Tocantins, Rondônia, Acre and in the center-south of Pará and Amazonas, the weather remains firm. The low humidity draws attention especially in the center-south of Tocantins, where rates can drop to values ??between 12% and 20% in the afternoon.
