The passage of a cold front impacts the weather throughout the week in the South and Southeast of Brazil. Low temperatures are forecast even in areas of the Midwest. South

- Rain: the passage of a cold front causes rain this Monday (6), especially in the east of Rio Grande do Sul, in Santa Catarina and in the south of Paraná, where the expected accumulations could reach 20 mm. According to Inmet, new volumes are expected for next Saturday (11), when the formation of a low pressure center will cause showers in the region, generating accumulations that could reach 30 mm in the north of Rio Grande do Sul and in Santa Catarina territory.

- Temperature: the passage of the cold front is expected to cause a drop in temperatures over the next five days, with minimum temperatures close to 0°C between Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina between Wednesday (8) and Thursday (9), with chances of negative thermometers in mountainous areas. In Curitiba, minimum temperatures should vary between 5°C and 7°C. According to Inmet, from Friday (10), the cold will lose strength and temperatures will gradually rise again. The highest maximums should occur in the north of Paraná, with values ??between 28°C and 30°C.

Southeast

- Rain: the passage of a cold front will cause isolated rain showers on the coast of the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro this Tuesday (7). As the system advances, there will still be a chance of rain on the 8th on the coast of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo. The next rain conditions will occur on Sunday (12) due to the approach of a frontal system and the formation of a low pressure center, favoring accumulations that can reach 30 mm in the south of São Paulo and up to 20 mm in Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.

- Temperature: a mass of cold air coming from the South Region will cause a drop in minimum temperatures between Wednesday and Thursday, with values between 9°C and 11°C, which could be even lower in the Serra da Mantiqueira areas. Midwest

- Rain: the forecast is for firm weather for almost the entire region throughout the week. For Mato Grosso do Sul, there is a forecast of accumulations of up to 30 mm in the southern portion and up to 5 mm in the center and east of the state. These accumulations are forecast for the 12th, when instabilities associated with the passage of a frontal system and the formation of a low pressure center will cause rain showers. - Temperature: the lowest minimums should be recorded in the south of Mato Grosso do Sul, reaching 8°C on Thursday (8). In other areas, the weather will remain firm with no rain forecast.

- Temperature: the thermal pattern also remains relatively stable. The minimum temperatures are expected in the interior of Bahia and Pernambuco, with values ??around 16°C, occasionally reaching between 12°C and 14°C in the regions of Vitória da Conquista and Correntina, both in Bahia. According to Inmet, during the afternoons, the heat continues to predominate, with maximum temperatures that can reach 35°C in Piauí and Maranhão.

North

- Rain: the largest accumulations of precipitation are expected to occur in the northwest of Amazonas, in Roraima and in the northwest of Pará, with values that may occasionally exceed 100 mm in the week's accumulation. On the coast of Pará, Amapá and central Amazonas, the expected accumulations are up to 40 mm. In other areas, in the east of Acre, in the south of Amazonas and in the center of Pará, insignificant rainfall is expected, with accumulations of just 5 mm throughout the week. Inmet points out that in the west of Acre, in Tocantins, in Rondônia and in the south of Pará, the weather is expected to remain firm throughout the week, with no rain forecast.

- Temperatures: the maximum temperatures remain higher in the center-south of Pará, with values between 36°C and 38°C until the end of the week. The highlight will be the drop in minimum temperatures on Thursday (9), when thermometers should register between 16°C and 18°C ??in the center-south of Rondônia and the extreme south of Acre, especially in the Capixaba region.
