Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) approved the results of the public competition to fill positions in the higher education career. The event registered 726 registered candidates and resulted in the approval and classification of 107 teachers who will reinforce the Institution's teaching staff. After completing the written test, 143 candidates were called for the didactic test. Of these, 139 participated in the stage, while four did not attend. At the end of the process, 107 candidates were classified between broad competition and reserved places.

In the broad competition, 67 candidates were approved for the Cuiabá Campus, 20 for the Sinop Campus and 10 for the Araguaia Campus. In the reserved vacancies, six self-declared black candidates were classified, four for Cuiabá, one for Sinop and one for Araguaia. Four candidates were also approved as people with disabilities, after the validation stage, three for Cuiabá and one for Sinop. There were no successful candidates in the vacancies reserved for indigenous people and quilombolas.
The approval was sent on the 26th. The administrative appeals still pending will be analyzed by the Teaching, Research and Extension Council (Consepe). The areas that have appeals in process will be identified in a specific information to be published on the UFMT portal together with the approval in the Official Gazette of the Union. If necessary, the ordinance will be rectified after the final judgment of the appeals.
