According to a police report registered by the Military Police, the team was called after an anonymous tip reporting the existence of the damaged aircraft in the region. During the searches, police located two large volumes containing the drug.
According to the PM, the incident was supported by the Support Group (GAP) and the Local Intelligence Agency (ALi), due to the complexity of the situation.
According to police records, the military found that the location of the accident had been changed before the teams arrived, with evidence of intervention by unidentified people, which compromised the preservation of the original scene.
The victims found in decomposition have not yet been identified by the Official Expertise and Technical Identification (Politec).
After seizure, the 78 cocaine tablets were sent to the Federal Police Station in Cáceres, which will be responsible for investigations and appropriate measures.
The Military Police reported that they preserved the area until forensics arrived. The circumstances of the aircraft crash, the identity of the victims and the origin of the drugs will be investigated by the Federal Police.
