Raoni, who was hospitalized for a period in Sinop, has been hospitalized in the unit in São Paulo since the 19th of last month, after being admitted with a case of upper intestinal obstruction and aspiration pneumonia. The following day, June 20, he underwent obstruction surgery to restore intestinal transit.
According to the bulletin, on the 30th the patient presented an episode of digestive bleeding, which has now been controlled. Currently, Raoni is conscious, responds to commands, remains fever-free, breathes room air and is already receiving oral nutrition. The hospital also reported that the chest tube was removed, indicating further progress in recovery.
Hospital São Paulo informed that a new update on his health status will be released this Monday afternoon (6), or earlier, if significant clinical changes occur.
