A motorcyclist identified as João Batista de Campos, aged 61, died in a serious accident, last night, on the MT-060 highway, near the Santana do Carcará community, in Nossa Senhora do Livramento (38 km from Cuiabá). According to the incident report, the victim was driving a silver Dafra Speed ??150, while the other person involved was driving a black Honda NXR 125 Bros ES.

According to the police, there were no witnesses capable of reporting the dynamics of the collision. Furthermore, the low light on the stretch made it difficult to collect preliminary information about the circumstances of the accident.
The doctor responsible for mobile care confirmed that João Batista was already dead at the scene. The other motorcyclist involved in the accident was rescued alive and taken to the Várzea Grande Emergency Room. His health status was not reported.
The Military Police isolated and preserved the area, in addition to signaling the highway, until the arrival of teams from Politec and the Specialized Traffic Offenses Police Station (Deletran), responsible for forensic work and investigating the accident.
The causes of the accident will be investigated by the Civil Police.
