An accident involving a Jeep Renegade, a red Mercedes Benz trailer and a truck was recorded this morning, at km 717 of BR-163, near the Primavera district, in Sorriso. The driver of the Renegade suffered injuries and was rescued by the dealership team, before being taken to São Lucas Hospital. His health status was not reported.

The drivers of the trailer and truck were not injured. Both signed the form refusing medical referral after being evaluated on site. The circumstances of the collision will be investigated.
Due to the accident, traffic on the highway began to operate using the Stop and Go system, to ensure safety during vehicle service and removal work. The truck was released by the Federal Highway Police to continue its journey. The trailer and the Jeep Renegade will be removed by Nova Rota do Oeste tow trucks to clear the road.
