According to the police report, the suspect lost control of the steering wheel while traveling along Avenida das Itaúbas, colliding with an electricity pole. With the base damaged, the structure partially collapsed.
Agents from the Municipal Civil Guard carried out the initial approach, in which they found obvious signs of motor impairment on the suspect's part, such as reddened eyes, drowsiness, lack of balance and disjointed speech. Upon the arrival of the police, he was taken to the municipal police station to provide clarification. A team from the energy company was also on site to check the damage to the pole, aiming for the necessary repairs.
