The investigated women were located in different actions carried out by the team at the Cocalinho Police Station and sent to legal proceedings, remaining at the disposal of the Justice Department.
The investigation began on June 27, 2025, after the Civil Police received an anonymous tip reporting the arrival of a load of narcotics at a property located on Avenida Araguaia, in Cocalinho.
Based on the information, the police carried out investigations and monitored the address, finding intense movement compatible with drug trade. Given the evidence, an approach was carried out at the property.
During the searches, approximately one kilogram of a substance analogous to cocaine, two precision scales, a knife used to divide the drug, packaging for packaging narcotics, packaging intended for sale and cell phones were seized.
The quantity of drugs seized and the other materials found confirmed the evidence of drug trafficking. As the investigations progressed, the Civil Police concluded the investigation, identified those involved and represented the preventive detention of those investigated, a measure later granted by the Judiciary.
In compliance with court orders, the police team arrested one of those investigated on Wednesday (15) and the second on Thursday (16), concluding the execution of the warrants related to the investigation.
The investigations continue to fully clarify the facts and hold everyone involved accountable.
