Businesswoman from GO denounces having been extorted by a fugitive for threatening delegate in MT

Businesswoman C.D.C.M. filed a police report reporting that he has been suffering coercion and threats from Maike due to an alleged debt he collects from his ex-spouse, Phillip Wook Han. After the businessman's arrest was ordered, she sent a letter to judge Juanita Clait Duarte, rapporteur of the habeas corpus filed by Maike's defense at the Mato Grosso Court of Justice (TJMT), warning of the dangerousness of the person being investigated and asking that the benefit not be granted.

According to the police report, the businesswoman, divorced since 2024, reports that, on July 14, Maike and three other men approached her elderly father, who had gone to pick up his 9-year-old daughter from a martial arts gym in Goiânia. According to her, the group introduced themselves as police officers and claimed to be in an operation to locate the businesswoman.

“My father and daughter were prevented from leaving the gym freely and taken to the building where I live”, he narrated.

Still according to the victim, she received a call informing her that the father and daughter were in the group's “custody” and that they would only be released after a conversation with her. Fearing for the physical safety of his family, he went down to the entrance of the condominium, where he claims to have found around seven men.

“The individuals demanded that I take on a debt that is not mine, constantly mentioned my daughter as a form of intimidation and stated that I would resolve the situation ‘anyway'”, says an excerpt from the bulletin.

According to the report, the group, led by Maike, demanded that she sign an asset transfer contract. The businesswoman stated that, fearing violence, she said she would comply with the demand after consulting legal counsel, but that her intention was only to buy time.

She also stated that she was threatened with death and that one of the group's members claimed to be a member of the criminal faction Comando Vermelho. “That same night I was forced to leave my residence together with my daughter and my parents, both elderly, seeking shelter in a safe place”, he reported.

The businesswoman also claims that she and her family were exposed to residents of the condominium. “We were exposed to several people as if we were criminals, causing enormous embarrassment, humiliation and damage to our honor and reputation.”

According to her, part of the action was recorded on her cell phone and may also have been recorded by the security cameras at the gym and in the common area of the condominium.

When later checking Maike's name, the businesswoman discovered that he had been the target, the day after the events, of an operation by the Mato Grosso Civil Police for threatening a police officer and the officer's wife.

In the letter sent to judge Juanita Cleit Duarte, the businesswoman also reports that, even after Maike became a fugitive, members of the group returned to the condominium without his presence.

According to her, the suspicion is that they were trying to obtain money to enable the businessman to escape out of the country. The victim states that she decided to bring the facts directly to the judge's attention because the merits of Maike's habeas corpus will still be analyzed by the Court of Justice.

“I ask for help and make the facts described above public so that any unfair harm that may occur to me or anyone in my family can be investigated with greater precision, especially in relation to the person who has, repeatedly, threatened to cause unfair harm if she does not pay for a debt she claims belongs to her ex-spouse,” he wrote.

Maike remains on the run from justice.
