The mayor of Cuiabá, Abilio Brunini (PL), used social media on Thursday night (23) to clarify why the “Farmar aura” championship, scheduled to take place today (24), at 6:30 pm, at Parque das Águas, will not be held. In the publication, the manager provokes the “aura farmers”, stating that a meeting between “stupid people with emotional problems” can happen at any time, but an event without authorization from City Hall cannot.

"If there's a meeting of people with emotional problems, there's no problem, just the shame of others. Now, if a professional championship is going to happen, that is, an event organized with responsibility, then there will be penalties, including fines and other actions. I recommend not holding the championship without a license. Meeting stupid people, that's fine", he said.

In the video, Abilio states that there is no problem in bringing together a group of people in a public space, as long as the meeting is not characterized as an official event. According to him, when there is a formal, responsible organization and award, authorization from the City Hall is required, through a license issued by the Municipal Public Order Secretariat.

"Gathering people in a park, a square, anywhere is no problem, no matter how stupid the behavior, no matter how stupid the attitude or no matter how unbearable it is to watch. What happens is that I saw a video saying that there would be a professional championship, that is, an event with prizes and everything. A professional championship needs a license to take place within public areas", he clarified.

The subject gained great repercussion on social media this week after a video went viral in which a boy invites the population to participate in a “Farmar aura” championship, scheduled for this Friday (24), at 6:30 pm, in Parque das Águas.

Shortly after the publication gained repercussion, Abilio announced that the competition is not authorized to be held. In a post on social media, the mayor mentioned the municipal secretary of Public Order, Juliana Palhares, informing that the event was not approved by the municipal administration.

Meaning

On the internet, “farming aura” means accumulating charisma, style or respect in front of other people through gestures, poses, expressions or movements that attract attention and win over the public. The expression is used as a synonym for gaining morale, gaining prestige, raising status or simply striking a pose.
