LEONARDO VOLPATOSÃO PAULO, SP (FOLHAPRESS) - Jay-Z ended this Sunday (12) his three-night residency at Yankee Stadium, in New York, with a show marked by major appearances and moments that quickly resonated on social media.

Among them, one of the most talked about was Rihanna's return to the stage, albeit as a special guest, when the singer joked about the long period away from live performances. "You know I'm a little rusty, right? It's been a while since I've been on stage. Are you with me?", she told the audience.

The presentation, called Extra Innings, closed the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of "The Blueprint" and the 30th anniversary of "Reasonable Doubt", two of the most important albums in Jay-Z's career. Despite starting hours late due to problems accessing the stadium, the show lasted almost three hours and was described by the American press as a grand celebration of the rapper's career.

Rihanna's moment was one of the highlights of the night. Away from touring and frequent performances in recent years, the artist shared the stage with Jay-Z to perform "Run This Town", a partnership originally recorded with Kanye West.

Then, she performed the hit "Bitch Better Have My Money", sending the stadium into a frenzy. The brief speech about being "rusty" quickly gained prominence on social media, which fueled fan requests for the singer's definitive return to the stage.

Another highly anticipated presence was Beyoncé. The singer, who had already participated in the first night of the residency, returned to the stage to perform "Drunk in Love" alongside her husband. Participation reinforced the family and celebratory nature of the series of shows, which also featured names like Usher, Pharrell Williams, Clipse, Jermaine Dupri, Teyana Taylor, Swizz Beatz, Jeezy, Fat Joe, Jadakiss and The-Dream.

Before the performance even began, Jay-Z tried to alleviate the delay by speaking with good humor about the long wait. "We're going until around 5 am, so don't be scared", he joked shortly after taking the stage, around 1 am. Although the comment was made in a relaxed tone, the show ended around 3am, after hits covered the different phases of his career.
