Winter Holiday Camp in Volta Redonda Secom/PMVR The City of Volta Redonda (RJ), through the Municipal Department of Sport and Leisure (Smel), opened this Monday (13), registration for the Winter Holiday Camp. The activities are aimed at children and teenagers aged 6 to 14 and take place between the 20th and 24th of July. Interested parties can register until Thursday (16), from 8am to 11am and from 2pm to 5pm, in one of the 11 locations where the program will take place. Those responsible must appear at the chosen space to fill out the registration form. The activities will be carried out in nine multi-sports gyms, including São Geraldo, Santa Cruz, Santo Agostinho, Siderlândia, Três Poços, Vila Rica/Tiradentes, 249, Açude and Retiro. The program will also take place at the Nicolau Yabrudi Sports Arena (Seu Nula), at Voldac, and at UniFOA's Três Poços campus. In the afternoon, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, children aged 6 to 9 will participate. The program includes recreation, competitions, games, dance and capoeira workshops. According to the organization, participants will also receive a snack during the activity days. According to the secretariat, the initiative seeks to offer leisure options during the school break, encouraging sports and coexistence among children and teenagers.
