Isabelle Drummond characterizes herself as Emília more than 20 years after 'Sítio do Picapau Amarelo'

SÃO PAULO, SP (FOLHAPRESS) - Isabelle Drummond revisited one of her best-known roles: the doll Emília from Globo's "Sítio do Picapau Amarelo" (2001). The actress looked the part with the clothes and makeup she used to wear more than two decades ago in the children's series.

In a video published this Monday (27), which promotes the launch of the series on the Globoplay streaming platform, the actress appears incorporating the character to the sound of the opening song sung by Gilberto Gil.

The transformation caught the public's attention, who noticed that the actress hadn't changed since the last time she played the character. "Isabelle Drummond has only really grown up, as she has the same face as Emília back in 2001", said a user who identifies himself as @beleucomentaa on X (the old Twitter).

Many also felt nostalgic seeing Drummond's transformation, saying they considered her the best actress to ever play Emília. "I think it's incredible how she seems like she was born for this character", commented internet user @ZeUrubuPolitica, also on X.

Isabelle started working on the series when she was six years old. She remained in the production until 2006. Afterwards, she pursued an acting career, working on the network's soap operas and, currently, playing Naiane in "Coração Acelerado".
